This all started when explores found gold in mountains and streams to the north of Rio de Janeiro. they discovered that gold has filtered little by little in the coast and to Lisbon. BY 1700 the world's firs gold rush happened. Thousens of colonists and slaves came to the rugged mountains north of Rio de Janeiro. Now probobly 80% of the gold in Europe came from brazil. Kings have moved to Brazil just fofr the gold in the late 1600s and early 1700s.Added to timeline:
