Shen Nong, an emperor and popular herbalist of China liked to drink boiled water as he thought it was more clean and would rid off the bacteria naturally found in water. One day, as one of his servants was boiling water, a single dead leaf blew into his cup, it went unnoticed and was presented to the emperor. He drank from it and found that it was refreshing.
