jan 1, 1965 - Immigration and Nationality Act (1965)

Description:

This law set the main principles for immigration regulation still enforced today by abolishing the national-origins quota so a higher number of immigrants, especially dedicated to Asians (Asian Americans), were allowed the opportunity for schooling compared to before where minorities such as Asians were way less apparent. This helped increase immigration rates greatly as well from Asia especially since American schooling became even more popularized all over the globe.
