Description:

Laws passed by parliament that placed tax on good imported from britain.

Glass, paint, paper, and tea had taxes placed on them. Colonists refused to buy these goods, as a boycott. Loyalists even participated.

Due to losing money, the taxes were repealed on all but tea.
