Description:

The British but for William Henry after the French unsuccessfully attacked them. Marquis de Montcalm, the French's leader, attacked the fort nearly a year after it was built. Helped with artillery, the French were able to surround the fort in a few days, causing the British to surrender, and taking over the William Henry Fort.
