Description:

Massacre that initiated between the powhatans and settlers, due to how weak the settlers were and how the powhatans believed they would be easy to get rid of. Resulted in 1/3 of population of settlers to be killed. The settlers retaliate immediately and weaken the powhatans, lessening the control the powahtans previously had on the settlers.
