After decades of analysis on both the energy signals of distant hyperlane jumps and the technology present in the ominous Nibiru Gateway, humanity finally managed to create their first prototype of a hyperlane-capable engine. As no hyperlanes connected directly to Sol, humanity could not know for certain the engine worked just yet.Not until the Nibiru gateway was properly reactivated in 2200 would humanity know for certain that the hyperlane network could indeed be traversed by human vessels.
