While drones as a tool have existed for decades, it was only in 2020 that they were used for a government use outside of explicitly military uses. In a gradual build up to now, drones took on more and more roles in society to the point now where every major city has drones buzzing to and fro all across the skyline.By 2032 drones now serve roles such as delivery shipments, surveillance, policing, public/private transit, medical transportation, telepresence.
