Description:

Unlike the Crisis that came before it, the Zero Hour, also known as the Crisis in Time, has nothing to do with the Multiverse. Instead, it was a temporal Crisis, involving the changing, altering, and shifting of the timeline. Former Green Lantern Corps member Hal Jordan is driven insane by the loss of his hometown Coast City, and thus, donning the mantle of Parallax and having obtained immense power, Jordan sets out to destroy and remake the timeline how he sees fit. With the heroes of Earth being preoccupied with the various changes in the timeline resulting from Jordan's actions, as well as the emergence of a new villain known as Sextant, who they believed to be behind the changes in the timeline, Jordan is only discovered to be the true overarching antagonist when it is nearly too late. He is just barely stopped by his former allies from Earth, but not before causing a new Big Bang, which results in a soft reboot of the DC timeline. This provides new origin stories and details to a few certain characters, such as the Legion of Superheroes, whose story and origin changed completely, the Hawkman family, who merged from several people into one entity, the Justice Society, whose original members were retired since they would be too old to fight crime at this point, and the Team Titans, a future version of the Teen Titans, who were erased from history altogether along with their future.
