The Cuban Revolution was a military and political ploy to try to overthrow the Cuban government at the time. It was led by Fidel Castro against Fulgencio Batista. On January 1, 1959, Fulgencio Batista was finally out of the office. The movement founded a new Cuban Government that is led by Fidel Castro. The Cuban Revolution signified transformed cuba's economy and civil society.
