My mom came to Puerto Rico during the second wave of Chinese immigration. When she came to Puerto Rico, instead of trying to start a business, she came to Puerto Rico as a way to get into the United States more easily. In Puerto Rico, she met my dad who came to Puerto Rico to start a restaurant.
