Description:
Cuba is labeled a state sponsor of terrorism by the U.S. government due to support of African and Latin American communist groups which is largely a symbolic act due to the already heavy economic sanctions in place. The communist groups supported were in Angola, El Salvador Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
