ELON who? Aquaman star Amber Heard has surrounded herself with gal pals in the wake of her split from billionaire businessman Elon Musk.
Heard has been hanging out with friends including her personal assistant Savannah McMillan, stunt double Joanna Bennett, Aussie activist and sex worker Tilly Lawless and Gold Coast nutritional adviser Laura Michell, whose husband is a crew member on Aquaman.

Heard posted a picture of herself applying lipstick to Lawless (taken by Michell) on her Instagram page with the caption: Lip service @tilly_lawless

Lawless also uploaded a video of herself titled Gold Coast Mansion Life that shows her hanging out at Heard’s Coast mansion on the weekend.

The video also shows Lawless dressed in a green tracksuit “ready for a Maccas run”.

Heard sparked lively debate online this week after she shared a clip from her interview with The Economist on Instagram in which she discusses equal pay, gender equality and Hollywood.

“Don't be afraid to be called a bitch. That’s what they call you when they’re threatened by you or when they’re scared of you,” Heard says in the clip.

“You know, I’ve been speaking out about the gender bias in Hollywood since I have been in Hollywood.”

The video goes on to point out Hollywood actresses earn on average 30 per cent of what their male counterparts earn and that women make up fewer than one quarter of the leading roles on screen.

“We don’t typically know what those around us are making — other actors, other casts and stuff — but when these things are exposed it is, it’s criminal how unfair the pay gap is between men and women,” Heard says.

“Women seeing movies and making purchasing decisions is only rising yet our stories, our representations of the female experience is still chronically under-represented.

“The day that you throw your hands up and you’re just content to accept injustice you’re dead. we all are. Because if it’s unfair for one person, it’s unfair for us all.”
