jan 1, 1920 - Companies would fence off property, Arlington
Description:
Arlington Land Company was just one of the new private owners of the once communal lands. These private landowners would begin to use barbed wire fences to keep others out of their new property. This will lead to the displacement of the Mexican settlers who used the lands as grazing pastures for their livestock.
