Description:

A multimedia opera based on a book. The story is presented through monologuing and singing holograms in separate spaces, moved around by rover-like projector robots on wheels. The audience has 3 hours to explore the rooms, consuming the plot line in a non-linear way.

It has been noted that it is difficult to discern a singular voice through all of the holograms in the rooms, and eye masks are offered to visitors to protect the from offending lights, as well as an attempt to make them relax and slip into the hypnotic-like state believed to have been achieved in 1960s Dreamachine. During the premiere of the opera in Hong Kong, the screens went black for about an hour before the problem was fixed and the show continued.
