The tube contains samples of a meteorite 4.5 billion years old, icelandic lava, namibian sand, particles of kimberlite and diamonds, DNA samples from humans, rats, salmon and potato, a bee, seeds, and around 300 tardigrades (waterbears), electronic devices: accelerometers, a radiation detector and a mobile phone. A credit card, a wristwatch, a photograph of earth from space, and fingertips.
