jan 1, 2003 - Call of duty first game published
Description:
published by activison, set in 1944.
1) The names of the towns, villages, and even the operations are well-researched and even recreated with attention to detail.
2) The multiplayer and single player maps are based on real places.
3) The weapons and dates of every event are accurate, even if some liberties were taken for the gameplay.
4) The communication and language is also testified by veterans to be authentic.
5) Also the women who served in the Soviet Army.
1) However, there are also quite a few inaccuracies: The German defense line in D-Day included barbed wires, mines, and other traps, but those are not present in the game.
2) The explosion’s death range is also quite measly, when back then it would have been a death sentence.
3) The Red Army is also portrayed as incompetent, when in reality it was well equipped.
