The game itself is not very historically accurate though. In the game the player is able to explore a realistic map of the Caribbean (downscaled) and visit real-life ports which are all accurate. At the same time, the player is compared against the top 10 most notorious pirates which are based on real-life ones. The pirates featured in the game are blackbeard Roche Brasiliano, Stede Bonnet, captain kidd, Jean lafitte, henry morgan, L'Olonnais, Jack Rackham and bart robert and the player is able to fight them. That is very inaccurate as most of them weren’t even alive at the same time. There is also a thing with four different nations taking part - the Spanish Empire, the Dutch Republic, the Kingdom of England, and the French colonial empire in the Caribbean.
