feb 22, 2022 - musume of the future
Description:
The Museum of the Future is an exhibition space for innovative and futuristic ideologies, services and products, especially in the field of robotics and AI, claiming its purpose is to look for solutions for the challenges of the future,
exploring and promotic technological development and innovation. It is located in the Financial District of Dubai. The museum’s building has three main elements: the green hill (representing the solidity and permanence of the earth), the building itself (glimmering and futuristic, representing mankind and its ability to create harmony with its surroundings), and the void at its center (a symbol for undiscovered knowledge and unwritten future). The elliptical building is covered with calligraphy of 3 quotes of sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates:
“We won't live for hundreds of years, but we can create something that will last for hundreds of years.”
“The future will be for those who will be able to imagine, design and build it, the future does not wait, the future can be designed and built today.”
“The secret of the renewal of life, the development of civilization and the progress of humanity is in one word: innovation.”
The museum was founded by the Dubai Future Foundation, and eventually opened on 22.2.22 by the government of the UAE because of the date’s palindromic nature.
