The Inostropians were able to enter Sirengrad through a tunnel that had been built earlier, either by Mountainarians or Inostropians. A difficult battle followed, as the city was heavily defended by Mountainarian forces. Despite strong resistance, the Inostropians managed to retake the colony and restore control over Sirengrad.
