Megafauna made extinct by humans
Procoptodon goliah- A short-faced kangaroo that was that largest kangaroo to ever exist. It stood around 6.6 ft tall and weighed about 511 pounds.
Diprotodon optatum- The largest marsupial to ever exist. It was 9.8 ft long head- tail, when standing was 6.6 ft tall, and could of weighed 6,150 pounds.
Dromornis stirtoni- A large-flightless bird that stood 9.8 ft tall and weighed 1,433 pounds.
Varanus priscus- A giant extinct monitor lizard that was AT LEAST 18 ft and 1,268 pounds.
Thylacoleo carnifex- More commonly known as marsupial lions, were the size and weight of small lions.
Meiolania- A species of turtle that was 8.2 ft long.
