Description:
Jesus Christ, the son of God is crucified in Jerusalem, Judea. He was tried before Pilate, Roman Governor of the region for his blasphemy. He claimed to be the King of the Jews and thus was first sentenced to flagellation, later handed over to soldiers for crucifixion. Jesus is led to the place of the crucifixion, initially carrying the cross before Roman soldiers induce Simon of Cyrene to carry it. And then, Jesus is hung on the cross and dies by the 9th hour of the day (3pm)Added to timeline:
