jan 1, 32540 - Investigation of [UNKNOWN] IV

Description:

- The SotR are tasked with quelling a rebellion on the moon of [UNKNOWN] IV.
- It is quickly unearthed that aristocrats from the neighboring planet (a pleasure world) have been manipulating the population into rebellion for unknown reasons.
- Padraig (ward of Kurun) discovers the manipulators and evidence of chaotic corruption.
- Kurun and a small force of veterans attempt to execute the perpetrators, however, militia forces attack the palace in retaliation before this is possible. SotR reinforcement are called, but just as they arrive, so do a sizeable force of Iyanden eldar. The 3 way battle is only interrupted when hordes of Slaaneshi daemons emerge from the skies above the palace. Kurun (with entourage) fights his way to an underground cave system, where he discovers the original perpetrators attempting to feed eldar soul stones to a keeper of secrets to summon it. Kurun stops the ritual, but is confronted by eldar farseer Ul'amir. After intense discussion both leaders order a ceasefire and Ul'amir leaves the planet with the soul stones on good terms.
