As many people are well aware of the first-ever Nuclear Bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, many people don’t realize that just three days a second U.S. Nuclear Bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. When the nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the U.S. insisted the Japanese surrender, but they refused. But the U.S. was ready; they had two nuclear bombs ready for launch, one which had landed on Hiroshima and the other bound for Nagasaki, Japan. This was the U.S.’s last attempt at Japan's surrender. On August 9, 1945, the U.S. plane Bockscar dropped the nuclear bomb called “Fat Man” on Nagasaki.
