aug 9, 1945 - The United States Drops A
Nuclear Bomb On Nagasaki
Description:
As many people are well aware of the first-ever Nuclear Bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, many people don’t realize that just three days a second U.S. Nuclear Bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. As the talk about if the U.S. should drop a Nuclear bomb was being discussed a big issue stood out, which was “what if Japan still doesn’t surrender?’ This question was one of the biggest questions with U.S. people discussing this topic knowing that the Japanese Military don't care about their own Casualties and will do anything for their goal. When the nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the U.S. insisted the Japanese surrender, but they refused. But the U.S. was ready; they had two nuclear bombs ready for launch, one which had landed on Hiroshima and the other bound for Nagasaki, Japan. This was the U.S.’s last attempt at Japan's surrender. On August 9, 1945, the U.S. plane Bockscar dropped the nuclear bomb called “Fat Man” on Nagasaki.
