Scoutmaster Sonny DesVergers was driving some Boy Scouts near West Palm Beach when they saw a bright light flash over a palmetto grove. He stopped to investigate and later emerged terrified, signed with burns after a flying object discharged a fireball at him. Grass in the grove was singed, and its roots charred. The US government launched an investigation due to the fact there was an attack involved, but this case is still unsolved to this day.
