Description:
The German Communist Party, inspired by the Russian Revolution, decided to take control of Berlin. President Ebert put together a Freikorps of 4,000 volunteers to overthrow the Spartacists, the German army also refused to fight for fear of bloody revolution. On the 10th of Jan, the Freikorps took control of Berlin and two days later the leaders and 100 Spartacists were killed. The remaining members decided to use democratic methods to take control of Germany.
