Description:
A slave rebellion led by Nat Turner which took place in Southampton County, Virginia. Rebel slaves joined Nat Turner and killed 60 white Americans. The rebellion itself lasted a few days; however, Nat Turner was able to hide for two months before getting discovered by a white farmer named Benjamin Phipps who turned him into the authorities.Effect: 60 white people were killed. Turner was executed.
