Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer and a sex
offender. Between 1978-1991 he killed 17 males in very horrific ways including rape, dismemberment, necrophilia, and cannibalism. He had a pretty normal childhood, for all we know, but he became withdrawn and uncommunicative as he got older. He began to show no interest in hobbies, or social interactions and instead found himself studying animal carcasses and drinking excessive amounts of alcohol. He drank his way through high school and managed to graduate in the year 1978. 3 weeks after his graduation, at the age of 18, he committed his first murder. Due to his parent's divorce, he was left in the family home alone. He had picked up a hitchhiker by the name of Steven Hicks and proceeded to bring him back to his house. Jeffery hit him on the back of his head with a 10-pound dumbbell when he tried to leave. He scattered the remains around his yard. His reasoning for that being he simply didn't want Hicks to leave. After that, he wouldn't murder for 9 years. He got into college briefly but dropped out due to his alcohol addiction. He was forced to join the army and served as a combat medic. He was kicked out due to the addiction. He went to gay bars where he would drug men and do unspeakable acts while they were unconscious. He didn't murder any of them, however. His next victim was Steven Toumi in September 1987. Jeff had picked him up from a bar and took him back to a hotel room, where he woke up the next morning to his dead body. He later stated that he had no memory of actually murdering Tuomi, implying that he had committed the crime on some sort of blacked-out impulse. He continued to kill and rape men. He was dismembering the bodies and doing other stuff with them such as cannibalism. He got arrested once for drugging and raping a 13-year-old boy and was given 5 years of probation. He moved to Milwaukie in 1990. By 1991 he was killing around one person per week… one of his chosen victims, however, escaped him. He called the police and later that day they found the pictures of the dead bodies and dismembered body parts, which lead to his arrest. The things they found led to a bigger investigation where they then found a severed head in the fridge, three more severed heads throughout the apartment multiple photographs of the victims, and more human remains in his refrigerator. A total of seven skulls were found in his apartment as well as a human heart in the freezer. An altar was also constructed with candles and human skulls in his closet. He was given 957 years in prison, but was attacked in the bathroom of the prison,was found alive but died on the way to the hospital due to major head truama
