roughly at 12;17 pm, the world trade center was bombed. The bomb went off in the parking garage and carved out a 100-foot crater. Six people were instantly killed. Thousands of people were injured, some bad, some not that bad. The people who placed the bomb there, slipped away unnoticed. The government was very commited into finding the terrorists who had placed the bombs there. There were over 700 FBI agents looking for the terrorists. They eventually found a car that was weirdly oblitrated. They ran the numbers and they saw that it belonged to a rented van that had been stolen one day before the attack. On march fourth the person who stole the car was arrested. Another clue had then led to the arrest of 3 more suspects. They were all sentenced life in prison. The person who had planned all of this was still on the loose. HE was eventually captured in pakistan in febuaray 1995.This is a major event as a couple years later the towers were crashed into by a plane.
