Description:

The opposite of imperialism. The US realized that imperialism was making the US many enemies (e.g. Zimmerman note). It was the policy of non-intervention and backing off Latin America (LA). It include the retraction of the Platt Amendment and Roosevelt Corollary. The US was trying to prevent any attack/enemies in LA. If there’s another the war, the US wanted LA allies.
