Description:

The US, Britain, Japan, France, and Italy meet up (voluntarily) to create this treaty which tries to slow the arms race and prevent future wars. The nations agreed that they wouldn't build any new battleships for 10 years. The treaty also placed more restrictions on navy ships.

This treaty = rare event where countries voluntarily come together and disarm.
