During his presidency:
- He used the spoils system (Like Jackson) and filled his cabinet w/ yes-men.
- He had no political experience, no law degree.
- He gave jobs to his relatives and in-laws.

Turns out all of this led to a very corrupt cabinet! Who would have guessed!?
