Quakers we're the last Protestant religion that would be classified and brought up from the NMA meaning that this religion was a dissenter religious group and was radical linking back to other dissented religions like the diggers on the left that came also from the NMA Lambert the leader of the English NMA did not mind the Quakers and therefore it was a good relationship the Quakers were not an issue in the early stages of the 1650s but as time has gone on more members of the NMA have turned to be Quakers And so when the crisis for monarchy to return happened in 1659 to 1660 a lot of the Quakers were against the idea therefore caused a backlash
