a leading chief in the civil war who quickly rose up the ranks through the NMA, especially through his performance at the Battle of Marston Moor and the Battle of Dunbar against the Scottish in 1650
after the civil war, the man got involved in politics and was a strong supporter of the commonwealth Cronwell he would be a member of the Rump parilment however despite this he was also one of the members that tried to break down the rump and were therefor in the involvement of the assembly of the barebones to get more power
then sadly Lambert would get into political disagreements with the new Cronwell as which lead to his imprisonment in 1659 for trying to overthrow the new Cronwell (Richard Cronwell after the death of his father in 1658) and so got imprisoned for that and got let out in 1660
