The British government called for a congress of colonists to be created; they wanted the congress to create agreements w/ Natives and to figure out trade and expansion.
The Congress produced the Albany Plan of Union; it was a proposal by B. Franklin that called for an more centralized gov for the colonies. It was never carried out, but it was one of the first plans of uniting the colonies under one gov.
