Description:
During Ford's presidency, the U.S was going through an economic downturn. The economy was suffering of unemployment and inflation which was referred to as stagflation. Ford introduced the WIN program which pushed citizens to wear WIN buttons and pushed them to spend less money in order for inflation to go down. He would push for tax cuts and less government spending, but his proposals were not effective which led to being less popular.
