Description:
Meeting of delegates from New England states in 1914 to display grievances at federal government in War of 1812. Sparked from issues such as Jefferson's Embargo Act. Eventually failed because news of US victory in key battle during the war reached them shortly after the convention. Led to the downfall of the Federalists, people viewed them as disloyal.
