Description:

Arthur Zimmerman, German foreign secretary sends a message that was intercepted by British Intelligence. The message was for Mexico's German ambassador, proposing that in the event of the United States joining the Allies, Mexico would attack the US as well.

This puts ever yet more pressure on President Woodrow Wilson to declare war on Germany.
