Description:
The British abandon Gallipoli. 83,000 men were secretly evacuated without alerting the Turks. This turned out with not a single man lost for the British, meanwhile the Turks are suffering casualties from booby traps left in the now surrendered Allied Trenches.This is seen as one of the best executed evacuations of all time.
The campaign has costed both sides 250,000 casualties.
