Description:

The March was organized by important civil rights leaders such as A. Philip Randolph, Bayard Rustin and Martin Luther King Jr. More than 200.000 people gathered in Washington D.C, at the Lincoln Memorial to peacefully protest for job equality and civil rights legislation. It culminated with Dr Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous speech "I Have a Dream". Many important figures (artists, celebrities etc.) participated in the march and showed their support.
