Description:
After being refused permission to explore Peru by the governor of Panama, Pizarro went back to Spain and presented King Charles I with some of the Inca men, riches, and llamas. This convinced him, and Pizarro was given a licence which gave him rights to keep troops, a salary, and to explore, conquer and govern Peru in the name of Spain.
