Description:
The Germans attack at Ypres, and is the first nation in history to use poison gas in a war. They deployed Chlorine gas which flowed into the allied trenches. This causes them to abandon their trenches, but the Germans have no reserves to exploit it.Although the allies won the battle, they suffer 25,000 more casualties than their opponents, at 60,000.
