Description:

Hindu Mahasabha was founded in 1915 by Madan Mohan Malviya .
It worked with Arya Samaj and other Hindu organizations.
It was directly linked with Rashtriya Swam Sevak Sangh founded in 1925 at Nagpur by K.B.Hegewar.
Hindu Mahasabha, politico-religious was formed by Madan Mohan Malviya in the year 1915 to protect the rights of the Hindu community in British India.
The first All India Hindu Mahasabha Conference was organized at Haridwar in 1915 under the
presidentship of the Maharaja of Kasim Bazar.
The Sabha became more aggressive after 1929 and started propagating Hindu Rashtra which was totally different from Gandhiji’s Ram Rajya.
In April 1921 it changed its name to Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha.
Over the years several small Hindu sabhas were formed in Punjab, United Provinces, Bihar, and Bombay Presidency.
In April 1925 the Sarvadeshak (all India) Hindu Mahasabha was formally established and all the regional organizations were brought under it.


Madan Mohan Malviya:
Madan Mohan Malaviya was an Indian scholar, educational reformer, and politician notable for his role in the Indian independence movement.
As the three times president of the Indian National Congress and the founder of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha.
Malaviya became the President of the Indian National Congress in 1909 and 1918.
He was a moderate leader and opposed the separate electorates for Muslims under the Lucknow Pact of 1916.
The "Mahamana" title was conferred to him by Rabindranath Tagore
