Amber Heard has admitted taking drugs (MDMA and mushrooms) and drinking alcohol during the trip to Coachella. However she has been very reluctant to admit to being unwell as a result.

Starling Jenkins saw Amber Heard vomiting in the car park. Rocky Pennington admitted to Amber Heard being sick ‘privately’.

In an email to iO Tillet-Wright on 26 April 2016 Amber Heard wrote: As I told you earlier that last evening, and wasn't ABLE to articulate later that night as I was having the worst trip of my life-and damn near thought we were going to have serious trouble... Even I though I might be fucked (i was going into convulsions and couldn't quite stop to explain, "I'm having the worst drug reaction I've ever experienced and the most painful trip and convulsions and I'm worried I might lose consciousness and then we're really fucked - not to mention how a trip to the ER for this would affect my probation... But please, sit down will ya?!" The worst experience of my life.

Starling Jenkins took Amber heard back to the hotel and when shopping to bring her crackers, Ginger ale, Pedalyte and Gatorade.
