Thomas Eckhart takes becomes the President of the Enclave and redirects the focus of the Enclave. President James Hunter, his predecessor, wanted to restore the United States of America by slowly gaining back control of the mainland US. Thomas Eckhart saw the wastlanders as savages and not US citizens and wanted the purge the mainland of its inhabitants.
