Description:

A special exhibit at the Natural History Museum is broken into, which triggers one of Whistler's visions. Upon investigation, Angel discovers that the Gem of Amara (a mystical ring that would grant a vampire wearer complete invulnerability to all their usual weaknesses) was stolen, by Spike. Spike uses the ring to gain advantage on Angel, taking him hostage and torturing him, while lamenting that Drusilla has left him because of Angel. The two have a confrontation, and Angel manages to get the ring off of Spike, driving him away. Spike flees, lamenting that the Slayer was also to blame. Angel decides that the ring is too dangeorus, and destroys it.
