Description:

Buffy receives her SAT scores and ponders a future outside Sunnydale. Gwendolyn Post arrives, claiming to be Faith's new watcher. She warns that Lagos, a demon is seeking the Glove of Myhnegon, a powerful gauntlet. Faith and Buffy discuss their past, and part of the evening. Faith then stumbles upon Lagos and is beaten by him. Gwendolyn visits Faith, promising to be a strict watcher and disparaging Giles's methods. Faith and Xander find each other at the Bronze, and kiss, unknowingly seen by Cordelia, who runs off distraught. Giles tells Gwendolyn that he knows how to destroy the glove, but Gwendolyn knocks him out. Buffy kills Lagos, and returning to the library, find Giles hurt. Gwendolyn recovers the glove and puts it on, using it to summon lightning bolt and attack the others. Buffy manages to kill Gwendolyn after Faith acts as a distraction. The group reconcile, but Faith feels unable to trust anyone after Gwendolyn's betrayal. Xander visits Cordelia, but she tells him to stay away from her.
