sep 11, 2001 - 9/11 Terror Attacks
On September 11, 2001, the Islamic extremist group, al-Qaeda, hijacked four airplanes and executed suicide attacks in the United States. Two planes were flown into the Twin Tower in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., as the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. 9/11 terrorist attacks caused in devastating death and destruction, as the citizen of US commences to aware on the issue of terrorism. Al-Qaeda, as terrorists, successfully spread fear all over the countries. Over 3,000 people were killed in the suicide attacks, including more than 400 police officers and firefighters.
