jan 1, 1933 - FDR’s 1st term begins — New Deal
In order to stabilize economy, Franklin D. Roosevelt provide job opportunities and for the public. During the Great Depression, the government established many experimental projects and programs, AKA the New Deal, aimed to rehabilitate US downfall economy. The New Deal increased federal government involvement in American daily life, doing more than just adjusting interest rate. Even nowadays, an insurance program known as Social Security, providing welfare for unemployment, still existed in current society.
