The first self-propelled wheelchair. The wheelchair was invented by a paraplegic clock-maker, called Stephan Farfler. He built the wheelchair at the age of 22 after breaking his back as a kid.The wheelchair had an odd shape, it was bulky and big, with a crate like object in the front and a lever.
